Shiloh and Mikaela’s wedding day was a perfect blend of charm, drama, and joy—set against the rustic beauty of McMenamins Roadhouse in Hillsboro. The day began at a nearby 1895 historic Airbnb, where the couple got ready in a home full of character: high ceilings, glowing hardwood floors, cozy vintage furnishings, and tall windows pouring in natural light. The living room, adorned with a dramatic wall of gold frames and artwork, quickly became a favorite—especially for Mikaela, who requested fun, dramatic portraits of her and Shiloh lounging on the couches in true editorial style.
After a sweet first look in the house, we made our way to McMenamins where the couple shared additional emotional first looks with their families in the wide-open meadow—a peaceful, leafy space perfect for portraits. Their ceremony took place just outside the iconic Octagonal Barn, surrounded by friends, family, and the sweet flower girl who scattered petals down the aisle. Heartfelt readings from the maid of honor and best man added even more warmth to an already beautiful moment.
The celebration continued inside the barn, glowing with rustic charm. Guests enjoyed the best mac and cheese for dinner, followed by a first dance serenaded live by close friends on guitar. The evening wrapped with cake cutting, outdoor games, a lively dance floor, and a buzzing photo booth capturing all the joy.
