This was my first time exploring the Tillamook Forest. It is so gorgeous, and I am so happy that we visited during the fall and were able to see the colors start to change on the trees while driving in, but also still see those deep green colors of the moss and leaves among it all. My husband is a veteran now, but worked in an armory for the USMC while he was enlisted. He knows all the safety precautions, rules and regulations, and skills behind it all. He’s still got a passion and fascination with the technical workings of guns so we went out to the forest and had some fun shooting a pumpkin.
